Obscure music link of the moment:
Though they only had one near-hit nationally, 1967's "Kites Are
Fun" stands on its own as a great example of breezy sunshine pop, with
light group vocals and a sparse yet shimmering production by space-age pop
legend Enoch Light. A radical departure from the majority of 1967's music, the
Dedrick sibs harmonize the other side of the Summer of Love. This Free Design
website is part of Robbie Baldock's look at Enoch Light's recorded achievements,
the "Spaced Out" website.
